April Audain: Denver Health named Audain, who previously served as VP of finance at Parkland Health in Dallas, Texas, as its next CFO.
Brenda Battle: After 12 years as SVP for community health transformation, chief equity officer, and head of the Urban Health Initiative for UChicago Medicine, Battle has announced her retirement at the end of 2024.
Pol Boudes: Massachusetts-based Rectify Pharmaceuticals, a biotech company that makes small molecule therapeutics, named Boudes as chief medical officer.
Ben Carpenter and Jeremy Meilman: JPMorgan shared that the pair will be global co-heads of healthcare investment banking, Reuters reported on September 19. Carpenter previously served as co-head of North American M&A and Meilman was a managing director, according to Reuters.
Laurie Glimcher: The first woman president and CEO of Dana–Farber Cancer Institute announced that she would step down from the role on October 1. She is succeeded by Benjamin L. Ebert, the former chair of the medical oncology department.
Nadia Hansel: Johns Hopkins Medicine in Baltimore tapped Hansel as the next physician-in-chief of Johns Hopkins Hospital and director of the department of medicine, the first woman to hold the role at the health system.
Lucas Montarce: Indianapolis-based biotech giant Eli Lilly tapped Montarce as EVP and CFO. He’s been with the company for 23 years, and most recently served as president and general manager of its Spain, Portugal, and Greece division.
Lorie Rhine: Chapel Hill, North Carolina-based UNC Health has named Rhine as the system’s chief nursing executive. She previously served as VP and chief nursing officer for UNC Health Rex in Raleigh and Holly Springs.
Lisa Stump: After over a decade with Yale New Haven Health in Connecticut, New York City’s Mount Sinai Health System named Stump as its next chief digital information officer and dean for IT of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Mark Wallace: Wallace retired from his CEO role after running the Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston for 35 years.
Lucinda Warren: Cue Biopharma, headquartered in Boston, tapped Warren as its next chief business officer.
Mitzi Wasik: The Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy in Virginia announced Wasik as its next executive director of the AMCP Foundation, a research organization, and SVP of practice strategy and innovation.
